Teaching and Technology Micro Grant

The grant program provides funding for faculty members to explore and experiment with digital technologies to enhance teaching and learning.

Funding

Faculty members may request up to $500 (per academic year) to support the purchase of software or hardware that will be used in one or more courses.

Sharing Outcomes

In the spirit of “paying it forward,” faculty members who receive funding will be asked to share some lessons learned about their project with colleagues. This knowledge sharing can take the form of a brief presentation, brown bag lunch session, blog post, podcast, or some other means where you can share:

  • The observed impact of the technology on learning
  • Advantages and disadvantages of the technology
  • Student perspectives.
