Omar Aquije joined communications as manager of athletic communications on Nov. 1, 2021. Omar was previously employed by the New York Daily News as an audience engagement editor. He received his journalism degree from SUNY Plattsburgh and his associate degree in journalism from SUNY Morrisville. He enjoys photography, reading, collecting vinyl records, watching horror movies, going to Citi Field to see the New York Mets, and spending time with his cat, Nymphadora.
Amanda Barnhart joined advancement on Oct. 11, 2021, as an administrative assistant for Alumni Relations Reporting. Amanda previously worked for Norwich Pharmaceuticals as a documentation specialist. She received her BS in information systems and business processes from Clarkson University. She likes playing and coaching ice hockey, photography, graphic design, all things crafty, and spending time with her husband, Paul, her children Anastasia and Dominic, her dogs, Odin and Loki, and her cat, Mittens.
Kimberly “Kim” Cataldo-Murray began on Nov. 15, 2021, as assistant director for employer relations-operations. Kim received her BS in speech-language pathology and audiology from Northeastern University and her MEd in student affairs counseling from Bridgewater State University (Dec ’21). She enjoys exploring new areas, eating delicious food, cooking, exercising, and spending time with friends, family, her wife, Jackie, and their tabby cat, Jax.
Helen Eaton began on Nov. 15, 2021, as an administrative assistant for employer relations in career services. Helen was previously working as a temp with mail services at ߲ݴý. She received her associate degree in business administration. She enjoys traveling, camping, baking, and spending time with her husband, Philip, and grandchildren, Ariya and Reed.
Kim Harris joined advancement on Oct. 25, 2021, as associate vice president of major gifts. Kim previously worked at the University of Kentucky in three different colleges (College of Dentistry, Fine Arts, and Medicine) for 14 years as a senior director of philanthropy. She received her bachelor’s in English from the College of Wooster in Ohio. She enjoys hiking, camping, reading, and spending time with her son, Josh, her dog, Mia, and friends.
Kayla “Kay” Ingianni began on Nov. 15, 2021, as a web developer. Kay was previously employed at Childtime Learning Center as a teacher’s assistant. She received her bachelor’s in web development from SUNY Morrisville. She enjoys horseback riding, skiing, and spending time with her dog, Shaggy.
Katherine “Katie” Kaczorowski began on Nov. 1, 2021, as an assistant director in alumni relations. Katie was previously employed by Girl Scouts of NYPENN Pathways as director of marketing and signature events. She received her bachelor’s from Rochester Institute of Technology. She enjoys cooking, walking, reading, and spending time with her husband, Kevin, her children Ryan, Hannah, and Parker, and her dog, Jeter.
Shelby King began on Oct. 6, 2021, as an administrative assistant in admission. Shelby was previously employed by Otsego County in its patrons co-op billing office. She received her bachelor’s in business administration from SUNY Polytechnic Institute. She enjoys traveling, Disney, and spending time with her boyfriend, Nathan, her son, Grayson, her dogs, Trinity, Fiona (Fifi), and Chewie, and her cats, Flower, Rory, Leia, and Thor.
Francis “Fran” Moot began work on Oct. 6, 2021, as a custodian. Fran was previously employed as a custodian at Hamilton College. He enjoys spending time with his fiancé, Case, and children Britt, Buddy, Tyler, and Breann.
Rebecca Owen began work on Oct. 11, 2021, as a custodian. Rebecca was previously an ABM janitor. She enjoys doing crafts and gardening and spending time with her fiancé, Jim, her children, Ashley, Austin, and Ryan, and her dog, Diesel.
Keith Partridge began on Oct. 4, 2021, as a campus safety officer. Keith previously worked for J.P.B. Fire Sales, LLC as a loose fire equipment salesman. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Jessica, and their dog, Zeus.
