Rachel Ash began on January 3 as assistant director of university events. Rachel received her bachelor of science in integrated marketing communications at Ithaca College. She was previously employed at Ithaca College as assistant director of conference and event services. She enjoys reading, shopping, traveling, watching television (especially Bravo), and spending time with her friends and family, husband Cody, and children Declan and Connor.
Weylin Burgett began on January 9 as director of enterprise applications and data systems. Weylin has an MBA and BA in computer science. He was previously employed at Kenyon College as chief technology officer and security architect. He enjoys bicycling, DIY and home improvement, cooking, baking, and spending time with his son, Wesley, 15, and their dog, Lulu.
Gary “Scott” Clendenen began on December 5, 2022, as a custodian. Scott is a retired police officer from the Anderson Police Department in Anderson, IN, and Nevada City Police Department in Nevada City, CA. He enjoys golf and spending time with his wife, Laura.
Travis Clines began on January 3 as advancement communications manager. Travis received his bachelor’s from Binghamton University and is currently in his last year of getting a master’s from Southern New Hampshire University in higher education administration. He enjoys working out, any type of home improvement project, collecting antique toy trains, and spending time with his wife, Gina, their daughter, Ellianna, and five cats.
Ray Cudney began on December 5, 2022, as a project manager. Ray received his BS in civil and environmental engineering from Clarkson College. He enjoys sailing, tennis, golf, hiking, and spending time with his wife, Barb, and their children, Lee and Jeanette.
Kadie Farrow began on December 6, 2022, as a custodian. Kadie was previously employed at Morrisville Auxiliary Corp and was a bus driver. She enjoys bowling, traveling, and spending time with her dogs (Luna, Gus, and Timmy) and her heifers (Shellie, Barb, and Bee).
John Michael Haky began on January 16 as associate director of residential life. John received his bachelor of science in business administration, concentrating in marketing and international studies, and his bachelor of arts in religious studies and folklore from Indiana University. He received his master of education in higher education leadership from the University of Nevada. While attending Indiana University, he also minored in economics and East Asian studies. He enjoys reading, traveling, and watching sports from around the world.
Chloe Heintz began on January 16 as senior regional advancement director. Chloe received her bachelor’s in women’s studies and economics from SUNY Purchase College. She was previously employed at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine as a major gifts officer. She enjoys backcountry outdoor activities, reading novels and poetry, traveling, vintage and secondhand clothing, and spending time with her husband, Brian, and her cat, Wolverine.
Rachel Henderson began on December 5, 2022, as a department administrator in annual giving. Rachel attended Paul Smith’s College, where she studied fisheries and wildlife science. She enjoys teaching and practicing classical pilates, building pilates equipment, connecting with nature, learning new skills/hobbies, and spending time with her partner, John, children Lincoln and Ava, dog Arthur, and cat Daisy.
Jennifer Katherine “Jen” Jones began on December 13, 2022, as assistant director of the Shaw Wellness Institute. Jen has an MS in community health. She was previously employed at Utica University as Safe Trax Program director. She enjoys gardening, hiking, camping, watching rugby, crochet, crafting, and spending time with her partner, Stephen, children Brandon, Serenity, and Drake, and dog Rayne.
Victoria Jones began on January 3 as an environmental health and safety specialist. Victoria received her bachelor’s in biology at Hartwick College and is currently working toward her master’s in public health at UMass Amherst. She enjoys renovating century homes, knitting, and spending time with her husband, Dustin, who works in the physics department, and their two children, dog, and cats.
Gwynne Lim began on December 13, 2022, as associate director of residential operations and assignments. Gwynne has a PhD in biology, MSc in biology, and BSc (Hons) in biological sciences. She enjoys cooking, foraging, fermenting, nature walks, gardening, reading, and spending time with her husband, Erik, and son Henry.
Meghan Niedt began on December 1, 2022, as a grants assistant in university grants and sponsored research. Meghan attended Ithaca College. She was previously an associate director of the Max A. Shacknai COVE at ߲ݴý. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Bryan, and son George.
Amanda Reeder began on January 17 as an associate registrar for transfer services. Amanda received her MA in higher education administration from Boston College. She was previously employed by the University of Wisconsin as director of transfer relations. She is an avid curler, lifelong Bronco and Red Sox fan, enjoys traveling (has been to all 50 states) and spending time with her husband, Bob, children Evan, Max, and Beatrice, and dogs Denellie and Finley.
Nolan Snyder began on January 9 as an assistant director of employer relations - operations. Nolan received his BS and MS in management from Keuka College. He was previously employed at Paul Smith’s College but decided to return to his current position at ߲ݴý. He enjoys hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, kayaking (anything outside), audio production, hobbyist electronics, playing and working on guitars, amplifiers, and pianos, and spending time with his wife, Wendy, and their three daughters, dog, and cat.
Kyriakos “Dominic” Tsoukalas began on January 16 as an associate director of research and high performance computing. Dominic was previously employed at the University of Pennsylvania as a DevOps engineer. He enjoys baking, dancing, hiking, learning, socializing, and spending time with his wife, Julee.
