Phillip Coe

Phillip “Phil” Coe began on July 15, 2024, as a mailroom clerk. Phil graduated from Whitesboro Senior High School. He was previously employed at Upstate Caring Partners. He enjoys his recording studio (he is a music and jingle producer) and spending time with his wife, Jessica.

Anna Foland

Anna Foland began on July 29, 2024, as an assistant director of international student services. Anna received her bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Hanover College and her master’s in philosophy from University of Wyoming. She was previously employed at Hamilton College in the division of student life. She enjoys yoga, traveling, cooking, Frisbee, vintage clothing, and spending time with her partner, Chris, and cats Olive and JJ.

Kayla Gridley

Kayla Gridley began on June 10, 2024, as an academic department coordinator. Kayla has a master of science in psychology. She was previously employed by the Army National Guard as an HR and chaplain’s assistant. She enjoys fitness, farming, reading, and spending time with her husband, Michael, and daughters Chloe and Cassidy.

Colin Idzi

Colin Idzi began on July 15, 2024, as director of transportation. Colin was previously employed by Hamilton College as transportation coordinator. He enjoys going to the gym, golfing, and anything that involves being together with his wife, Bridget, children Miah, Hudson, and Mary, dog Maggie, and cat Leo.

Doug Lewis Jr began on July 29, 2024, as a custodian. Doug graduated from Brookfield Central School and was previously employed at Titan Homes. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Amy, and son Connor.

Kelly Madison

Kelly Madison began on June 10, 2024, as associate director for annual giving. Kelly received her bachelor’s in liberal studies from Syracuse University. She enjoys crafting, gaming (board and video), woodworking, reading, puzzles, and spending time with her husband, Scott, children Jennifer and Taylor, grandson Scotty, and bunny Eva.

Samuel Schuman

Samuel "Sam" Schuman began on June 17, 2024, as emergency management project manager and Clery compliance officer. Sam received his bachelor’s in human biology and an AAS in EMT-paramedic. He was previously employed by OSHA for compliance and COVID-19 testing. He enjoys programming, science fiction, writing, car maintenance, farming, heavy equipment operation, energy conservation, space exploration, and spending time with his wife, Emily, and dogs Juno and Rhys. He also has 2 horses, Eddy and Xander, 15 chickens, 6 turkeys, and one cat, Macaroni “Mac.”

Emily “Em” Socha began on July 1, 2024, as program coordinator for the Center for Women’s Studies. Emily received her bachelor’s in psychology and master’s in social work with a specialization in global and community practice. She was previously employed by Interfaith Neighbors, a nonprofit organization, as food justice organizer. She enjoys spending time by the water and in nature, cooking, solo travel, live music, and reading.

Rebecca "Becca" Taurisano

Rebecca “Becca” Taurisano began on July 8, 2024, as assistant director of advancement communications. Becca received her bachelor’s of arts/honors college from Louisiana State University. She was previously a magazine writer and marketing/communications consultant for organizations specializing in learning management technologies and training and education in central New York and northern Virginia. She enjoys swimming, reading (especially historical fiction, speculative fiction, and fantasy), cheering on her daughters’ lacrosse games, volunteering (currently a board member of the NYS Children’s Alliance [NYSCA]), travel back home to Washington, D.C., and spending time with her husband, Jon, daughters Bridget and Caroline, and dog Shelby.

Nathan Trawick

Nathan Trawick began on July 15, 2024, as assistant football coach. Nathan attended Miami University. He was previously employed as a football coach at Gardner-Webb University. He enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, spending time with family, and working out. 

Mark Wheeler

Mark Wheeler began on July 31, 2024, as deputy athletics director for external operations. Mark received his juris doctorate from Pepperdine University School of Law and bachelor of science in management from Marriott School of Business at Brigham Young University. He was previously employed by Syracuse University as a senior associate athletics director for administration and compliance. He loves working out, being outdoors, kayaking with his family on Caz Lake, playing driveway pickleball with his family, playing golf, and spending time with his wife, Kaela, and children Bennett, Anders, Theo, and Fiona. He is a huge fan of Premier League Soccer (diehard Fulham FC fan!).
