Federal CARES; CRRSA; and ARP Acts
º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ University received funding from three Acts passed by the federal government "to prevent, prepare for, and respond to coronavirus". A portion of these funds are to be used to issue direct grants to students whose lives have been disrupted by COVID-19.
- The Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) established under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, which was passed by Congress and signed into law on March 27, 2020.
- The Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund II (HEERF II) authorized by the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSAA), signed into law on December 27, 2020
- The Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund, third stream (HEERF III) signed into law on March 22, 2021 under the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act of 2021.
