º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½

º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ University is proud to host the NY6 Spectrum Conference, which will take place Feb. 21 - 23, 2025.

The Spectrum Conference brings together students, faculty, and staff from º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½, Hamilton, Hobart and William Smith, St. Lawrence, Skidmore, Union, and beyond for a weekend of community building, networking, and knowledge sharing. This free event celebrates a diverse range of sexualities, gender identities and expressions, backgrounds and experiences, cultures, and the insights we bring to social justice and advocacy.

This year's theme is Queer* Spaces and Places. We invite students, faculty, and staff to explore this theme through workshops, roundtables, information sessions, and interactive engagement, including games and performances. Attendees are encouraged to express their vision of this theme in the form of visual, written, or multimedia art that will be displayed during the conference.

º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ the Conference

After a six-year hiatus, the Spectrum Conference returns with an exciting lineup planned. The conference is attended by students and staff from NY6 schools as well as other nearby higher education institutions.

Attendee registration is available at no cost. On-campus lodging and meals are included.

Members of the º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ community who are not registered for the conference are invited to attend events and sessions held on campus.

This conference is organized by the Office of LGBTQ+ Initiatives and LGBTQ Studies, and sponsored by the NY6 Consortium, Dean of the College Division, Provost and Dean of the Faculty Office, and the Office of Equity and Diversity.

Schedule of Events

From engaging sessions and workshops to social events, a keynote address and drag show, this year's conference will not disappoint.

Stay tuned for updates. The full schedule will be released in January.
